Accounting Policy for Inflation Linked Bonds under NPS

1. Inflation Indexed Bonds (IIB) 2013-14 issued by RBI has a fixed real coupon rate and a nominal principal value that is adjusted against inflation. Cabinet approves CBEC cadre restructuring; 18,000+ new posts to be created

PCDA : Income criteria for dependent parents of Armed Forces Personnel for grant of two family pensions.

NPS : Changes is Investment Guidelines

The following changes in the investment guidelines have been made :- 1.1 Debt securities selected for Investments should have a minimum residual maturity period of  three years from the date of investment by the Pension Fund. 1.2 Debt securities must have an investment grade rating from at least two credit rating agencies.  Apart from ratings by agencies. DA revision : Finance Ministry issues order

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry’s Office Memorandum No. 1(2)/2013-_E-Il {B} dated 25th April, 2013 on the subiect mentioned above and to say that the President is pleased to decide that the Dearness Allowance payable to Central Government employees shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 80% to 90% with effect from  2013. Defence likely to have separate pay commission

The government is likely to accept the demands from the defence personnel for setting up a separate pay commission for the pay revision and benefits granted to the defence personnel only.
