Its official - DA hike approved by the government

After long wait, the central government employees have finally got the approval for the hike in the dearness allowance. The government has announced the hike in the dearness allowance following the cabinet approval. The central government employees and the pensioners will be eligible for an 8% hike i.e. DA of 80% from January 2013. About 50 lakh employees and 30 lakh pensioners are to benefit from this hike. Delay in DA announcement hike : Confederation protest on April 23

NIFR petition on grant of subsidy on HBA interest forwarded to Ministry of Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation for action

AIRF ultimatum to Centre, ask for implementation of Demands by June

All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF), the largest trade union in Indian Railway, has given an ultimatum to the Central government and to the Railway Ministry to implement its charter of demands that includes scrapping of new pension scheme. Family planning benefits not for fresh or re-appointments
