Accounting Policy for Inflation Linked Bonds under NPS

1. Inflation Indexed Bonds (IIB) 2013-14 issued by RBI has a fixed real coupon rate and a nominal principal value that is adjusted against inflation. Bombay High Court directs caste verification of central government employees

The Bombay High Court had directed central government offices to give details of the caste verification of their employees recruited in SC/ST category. Cabinet approves CBEC cadre restructuring; 18,000+ new posts to be created

The cadre restructuring proposal of the Central Board of Excise and Custom (CBEC) was approved by the Cabinet on Thursday. The Government has initiated the process to constitute the 7th Central Pay Commission along with finalization of its Terms of Reference, the composition and the possible timeframe for submission of its Report.
